Inside the Campaign - #1

Welcome to our monthly Inside the Campaign newsletter! We are grateful for the important role you play in your local Young Life area. Each month, we will share with you the Liberty Region activities around our FORWARD Campaign to reach more lost young people with the Gospel than ever before.

We Are Listening!

You may be a Committee person, a feasibility study participant, or leading in some other capacity in the region. We received excellent feedback, including two major topics were helping each area grow and mentor more volunteers and staff to work directly with young people. We are pleased to report that these two items are integral to our campaign and we are working with a private foundation interested in providing seed money for a pilot program with these elements in mind. Stay tuned for further progress.

We Are Engaging!

We have worked very carefully to create an Engagement Tool, which we will use to discuss Young Life and our “FORWARD” efforts in the Liberty Region. It clearly states the goals of our upcoming efforts and the impact it will have in very real terms.

We are Moving…FORWARD!

We are excited to introduce you to Jill Marsteller, of CALICO Advisors, as our Campaign Counsel. Jill has decades of experience working with faith based and educational institutions locally and nationally, and brings the development experience to our campaign we have been praying for! With Jill’s help we have laid out a timeline and plans for the next season of campaign engagement.

These initiatives will take more resources to be accomplished- both people and funding. We are building a Campaign Team of business, church and community leaders who will give us the wisdom and contacts necessary to grow new volunteers and the funding capacity to grow existing areas and new areas in the region.

We all share a heart and concern for today’s adolescents and know that there are thousands of them in our areas who need a place to experience and hear the Gospel. This Campaign will help us to reach more lost kids all over the Liberty Region, including the area in which you serve!
